So my cousin, fiancé, and I decided to go try this place out, and it was AWESOME! We've actually been back 3 times since then, lol! With that said, there are so many choices that it's almost difficult to choose however, that's why we've been back so many times 😉. Again, service dogs are a completely different matter.and they wouldn't be bellied up to the bar. There's a time and a place for dogs, but sitting at bars in classy and expensive downtown restaurants isn't one of them. No management or staff said anything.įor the record, both my wife and I like dogs and had them before we were married. We were planning on having after dinner drinks and dessert, but left - the dog still there.
We were next to the dog for about an hour. We thought maybe they were about to leave, but no. We were flabbergasted but said nothing and just tried to ignore it. The dog's paw or tail hit me once or twice, then the dog was licking the bar counter. They sat at the bar right next to us and held the dog in their laps. Yes, a dog.and not a service dog, which we'd have no problem with. We were at the bar, waiting on our food when a couple walks in with a dog. It's expensive but an upscale place - or so we thought. My wife and I wanted a nice, classy night out last night and chose O-Ku as we have been several times and like it. Oh, did I mention the large aquarium inside the restaurant?Ī couple and a dog walk into a bar.but this was no joke. I recommend this to everyone and yes it is kid friendly with the kids menu as well. I have actually contemplated returning to that area strictly for this restaurant as it was that incredible.

I live 2 hours from the location of this restaurant and was there upon recommendation from a medical professional after a surgical procedure. On a passing note, the Burger was grilled to perfection as well. And for a drink I got a hot tea, a peach herbal tea and that was incredible as well not sure where they got the loose leaf blend from but it was very good. I am beyond impressed with the chef/cooks there.
The burger was one of the two best burgers I've had at a restaurant in my life! The black truffle cheese I would have loved to have tasted more that was on my burger that is why I even ordered it without any sauce that normally came with that burger but, I realized that it was meant to be a blending of flavors they all compliment each other the roasted shallots the sauteed mushrooms the black truffle cheese and the burger itself. The sweet potato fries were perfect not undercooked not overcooked not over seasons nothing they were perfect. Although those are very simple dishes I so commonly see restaurants mess them up. The food was incredible! I decide to, first time they are, do something simple a burger with sweet potato fries.
